Who doesn’t love to travel? Even when I know I won’t have a chance to take off from work any time soon, I find myself looking for low airfare anyways. Last night, I stumbled on the same low airfare that helped me and my husband get to New York for seven days for under$1,400 including lodging. There’s something about cheap airfare that excites me. Since airfare often makes up the majority of travel costs, cutting on airline tickets means I have money to enjoy doing things I actually want to do while away. Go figure. That said, I decided to share all of my finds with my local friends and family and hopefully I can live vicariously through you since I will be in Dallas for a few months.

A few things to keep in mind: For starters, I search for the best windows in the next 30 days of time to travel for low fares. To me, I can get off from work any time I want to. I cannot however get cheap airfare at any time. Sadly, no matter how many times you beg the airlines, they don’t fulfill budget requests simply because you said pretty please. Second, these rates are found by searching for single travelers. They often have around five or more available seats however if you want to find seats together, you’ll need to request that directly from their airline after purchase. It’s easy. I do it all the time and rarely costs more than an additional $40 if you want to spend the dime. Last, the links below will take you the exact search criteria that I have found. If you need help navigating to check out, leave a comment.

Please feel free to request additional locations below if you need help finding specific travel arrangements. I will try to help as many as I can. Note: These prices were retrieved 12/13/15 afternoon. There is no guarantee these prices will not increase.ย

Hi David! I didn’t find anything below $257 for next month. I did however find that your cheapest fare will be January 6 on American. Let me know if you need additional details.

Needing airfare for Chicago in April and Cancun December of 2016! ๐Ÿ™‚

Hi Sean! I typically book my trips within 30 days of departure for the best rates. The difference? When I look for airfare for Chicago in April, I see flights around $268 whereas above you can see it is less than $100. If you’d like the assurance of booking advance, check out American 4/1 departure with 1/6 return. Flight 2511.

Thank you for your help? I graduate in May and would like to find flights tickets for Punta Cana, anything would help!

Hi Michelin! I typically book my trips within 30 days of departure for the best rates. When I look in May 2016 for tickets to Punta Cana, I find the price is around high 500s. This is about average for this destination. I will continue to keep my eyes peeled for you in case something lower comes up.
